About Mach 2 Estrema

The Grandinote Mach 2 Estrema represents the purest expression of Grandinote’s philosophy: delivering music with absolute coherence, speed, and naturalness. Like every model in the Mach series—whether a compact two-driver design or a large array with multiple units—the operating principle is always the same: a truly crossoverless system.

Unlike conventional loudspeakers, the Mach 2 Estrema employs no crossovers, no equalisation circuits, and no corrective elements. All drivers are wide-range transducers, operating in their full spectrum. The only exception is the super tweeter, where a simple high-frequency cut is applied. However, this cannot be called a true crossover, since a crossover splits the audio signal into two or more frequency bands, introducing capacitors, inductors, and resistors into the path.

About S.R.T.

The Mach 9 is the pinnacle of Grandinote’s pursuit of pure, crossover-less sound. After years of experimentation, we created our own mechanically treated drivers—eliminating break-up without sacrificing musicality. This innovation allows the signal to remain completely free of electronic filters, preserving coherence, speed, and natural timbre.
